We’re not scared of the big scary ai monster

We’re pretty sure a lot of designers and copywriters have used the terms “terrifying” and “wtf” when they have seen what Chat Bot GPT and MidJourney can create. It’s pretty easy to jump on the bandwagon of “the robots are stealing our jobs!”

We were two of them for a hot minute.

But then we started using it to help with our work and our efficiency has been like nothing we have ever seen before.

Instead of being afraid, we have decided to implement it into our processes, so that we can grow alongside technology.

So here’s just a few ways you can use ai to help you in the day to day of running a business.

rewording emails so we don’t offend – we all know written word can sometimes come across as passive aggressive or without empathy. Chatbot GPT can read an email and tell you different ways to word it.

Assisting with blog posts. For example, we asked ChatBot GPT to help with this particular post. We weren’t too stoked on the tone of voice or the information it provided, but it did help us to think of a few ideas that to implement.

Writing product descriptions. As someone with an e-com side hustle, our director Elke can get serious mind-block when it comes to writing product descriptions for new collections. It sometimes feels impossible to differentiate one product to the next. We found this response quite hilarious and poetic indeed, but maybe it’ll be more useful as an Instagram caption instead.

Helping to get an idea across. While we don’t want to design using AI, we know that it can be useful in showing a concept to a client. For example, we really want to create a sculpture showcasing our new logo.

What do you reckon?
