ABOUT
After collaborating with Sheet Society on various projects in the past, we had the pleasure of being approached to undertake their next brand venture: Sleep Well—a new range of wellness products designed to enhance bedtime routines and improve sleep. Tasked with positioning Sheet Society as not only the expert on sheets but also on sleep, Sleep Well required a distinct brand look and feel that seamlessly aligns with Sheet Society’s established image. The resulting brand identity strikes a harmonious balance between contemporary appeal and timeless design, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints—from packaging to in-store displays—ultimately inviting consumers to engage in a holistic approach to better sleep.
When designing a brand for sleep, the instinct might be to focus on restfulness and calm. However, Sleep Well needed to feel energised and alive, representing the confidence and vitality that come from a great night’s sleep. After all—good sleep = a good day! The Sleep Well brand had to reflect this, exuding energy rather than sleepiness.
Each hero ingredient—Tasmanian Lavender, Western Australian Sandalwood, and Magnesium Oil—features its own distinct icon and colour, designed to serve as a recognisable identifier. These hand-illustrated icons not only create a cohesive visual language for the brand but can also be scaled up for impactful graphics on packaging and in creative campaigns. By highlighting the essence of each ingredient, these icons strengthen the connection between the brand and its products, reinforcing the message that nature’s best stuff are at the heart of Sleep Well.
Sleep Well’s bright and approachable colour palette is designed to represent confidence and energy. The primary palette highlights citrus tones for their strong recognisability, paired with black and ecru to ensure legibility and cohesion with Sheet Society’s branding. A playful secondary palette, where colours are inspired by hero ingredients like Western Australian sandalwood and magnesium oil, brings a cohesive, engaging visual identity to life.
While developing a distinct identity for Sleep Well, it was crucial
to maintain a visual connection to its parent brand, Sheet Society.
Key elements of the Sheet Society brand—such as its signature typeface and use of black and ecru—were integrated into
Sleep Well’s look and feel. These details create a harmonious synergy, ensuring seamless brand recognition while still
allowing Sleep Well to stand on its own.
