We'd rather catch a moment than create one. While we’ll give you a few prompts, most of the day we stay out of the way and follow what's happening.

We don't come from wedding videography. We come from branding, design, audio-engineering, filmmaking and art direction, so we think about colour, set, design, light, sound, framing and pace as much as the order of events. Your video is crafted around your story with an art directors eye.

Please note: Due to the nature of travel some things may be out of our hands aka if you have a specific location in mind from our itinerary, this could be interrupted by external factors such as weather or travel delays. We are not liable for costs of goods lost in transit.

Who the hell is Eddie Love?
Eddie's the uncle who turns up early with his camera already rolling, and he's so happy to see you. Love is his last name but he'd tell you it's also his whole personality. He's not that uncle. You know the one, iPad held up in the aisle during the vows. Eddie's off to the side, quietly watching and enjoying every bit of it right alongside you. Every so often he'll lean in with a "go on, stand over there in that light", then he's back to watching. He cries at the vows, every time. He laughs at the speeches, even the ones that go off script (especially those).
He'd rather catch your nan dancing than chase a close-up of the table settings (although he will of course capture the very pretty place settings you spent so long curating). If you let him, he'll pull up a chair in a quiet corner and get your family and friends talking about you. He lets his old hand-held camera *what we like to call our Dad Cam* roll until the battery runs out. He knows how fast the day goes. You plan it for over a year and it's over in what feels like half an hour. That's why he's there, to make sure you get to relive it.
Eddie Love is the alter ego of Elke and Lachlan, the creative team at Eddie Studio. When we went looking for someone to film our own wedding, we couldn't find anyone who shot it the way we wanted: candid, full of feeling and still made properly. Then came the cliche saying "we could do that" and here we are, doing just that.
